I want to start a new wordpress gaming site and I want to copy all the games/description/instructions, etc from my other wordpress gaming site. How do I do that? I tried the wordpress import function but it didn't work.

You need to export your wordpress posts, after that open your exported xml file, replace exampledomain1.com with exampledomain2.com and save.
Now you can import it to your new site
